Sunny, when you cut one, can you post a pic? I'm curious to see what's inside!

I've never seen or heard of anything like that. As sweetle' said, please, post pictures of a cut fruit sometime. Those look so cool!

It looked fascinating, so I "googled" it, and found:

When fully ripe it is soft to the touch and the stem and attached core can be easily pulled out. The flesh may be scooped from the skin and eaten as is or served with light cream and a sprinkling of sugar. Often it is pressed through a sieve and added to milk shakes, custards or ice cream. I have made a delicious sauce for cake and puddings by blending the seeded flesh with mashed banana and a little cream.

Now, I'm hungry and curious! It sounds delicious, but probably nothing I'll ever be able to find or grow here....sigh. When will they come up with smell-o-vision?

Yes ! Sure definitely ..I'll post the pics of the flesh inside when they are ripe, Sweetlebee, Poeticpeony ~ it's quite interesting !

Rashell, you have plumeria in your garden. I believe you can plant this tree too in your zone! You should check your local nursery there, maybe they have it! Or should I sent you some seeds!

L...O....L Smellivision !

Yes... you are so right Mbvirtue ! the fruit does taste great ! You can make the flesh into many kind of desserts. I the other hands likes to eat it as it is, the flesh has a very sugary taste and had a bit of texture when they sets in your mouth! Slurps... YummY!!

Yup.. Tam-tam really neat idea ! I'm looking forward it too !wouldn't that be ! smellivision.

Cheers,

Sunny
