I love spinach but where I live (Maryland), the winters are too cold and the summers are too hot. Early spring and late fall are the only times to plant seeds and finding plants are difficult at best. I want to grow spinach indoors. Any suggestions?

You could set up hydroponic lights and regulate the temperature etc. if you have the resources. I don't, but managed to grow lettuces in the winter on a table by a northeast facing window. I just made sure they got lots of hours of the winter sun and made sure not to over water them. You could grow baby spinach if you want something compact and more ornamental! |
