I have been reading some books about growing vegetables in the south. I've come across one that I never heard of. Rapegreen. Can anyone tell me what this, best conditions for growing and if I can grow it in west Houston? Thanks, Kate |

Hi! This is one of my favorite vegetables! I bought some of these seeds from a supermarket in Chinatown. If you like to eat choy sum, it's usually cheaper at asian supermarkets than ordinary ones. This vegetable is good in stirfrys, with oyster sauce and also steamed. It grows very easily and is one of my garden staples. Are you thinking of growing some? |

Could it be broccoli raab? It is also called rape and rapini. Canola is also called rape. |
