Elimination of grass and weeds

Have a storage area behind camper 4' by 40' that I want to use as storage, and have placed pavers and some stones to keep clear of bugs and grass/weeds. I am only there occasionally and each time I go, that area is full of weeds and grass. I saw a recipe sometime ago for a solution that would eliminate weeds and grass and whatever and it would remain clear for several years. Anybody out there have such a recipe?
