*Sigh* So do I, wish I had the room, or didn't rent..or they needed yard improvement and I could get away with a water feature...I have considered above ground but this is a broke year! Beautiful Flower there! |

If I thought they'd survive I'd sneak some different kinds to the cemetery pond down the street. There's just wild white ones and that would look beautiful in there. |

I have what looks like the same water lily at Jeff.. I have mine in a 90 gallon water feature ''pond'', I just drop it to the bottom every fall and since I have 4 fish in that pond, I put in an electic water warmer to keep the water from freezing solid. The kind you put in a water trough for farm animals. My water lily seems to winter over just fine. I am West Central Illinois, zone 5 |

What a great lilly & picture! I am new to this & have a 60 gallon ceramic planter that's doing great since feb. here in San Diego. The only thing is, despite many green leafs, there hasn't been one flower! I've even fertilized them with no effect. The site gets plenty of sun. Any ideas? |

CC Im in zone 5 also Im in south east iowa about 40 miles west of the quad citys.I have a 270 gal pond but Im not brave enough to stick the heater in it. We do pull the lillys out and put them in our 500 gal pony tank with heater over the winter and they do just fine. Izzy I dont know why they wont bloom but they can be funny, keep em in there they will suprize you one day, and thank you for the compliment
