Germination of Black Eyed Susan (zone 9)

we dont have hardly any b.e.s. out here, BUT there are some gardeners who DO get it to grow.. Any suggestions for me.

I wouldn't worry about having bees for pollination. Here in NE Florida I've planted them and they come back year after year. Nature will provide you a means for pollination.

I misread your bes as well - but then realized you meant the blackeyed susan.

You can start them from seed and then they will reseed for you.
