My DH took a few magnolia cuttings and a wisteria for me, I've placed them in water and we'll see what happens. I purchased root starter/horomone stuff some time ago that I should use, but so many things going on so if they root, they root and I'll be very happy! My favorite tree is a magnolia. Maybe I'll have a suprise when we return from vacation

A friend of mine has a magnolia grandiflora tree in her yard. I didn't know that I might be able to start my own tree from a cutting. Can someone please explain exactly how I should do this? I live in zone 6 and it is moderately dry here. Thanks
