When is the best time to plant fall cucumbers? Another person told me to plant them on August 4. Can any kind of cucumber be planted?

I’m really jealous, two plantings of cucumbers! That’s what I get for living in zone 6.

I would plant them now and just keep them well watered. That way you can get a good amount of harvest before frost.

I think it's a good time now, at least I hope so. I'm going to give it another shot. I'm also going to try cantalopes since the bugs ate all my vines this spring mabe fall will better, but I live in central Florida and we have a milder fall than other parts of the country.
