Hi, I'm new to the forum and I could use some advice on starting an herb garden (obviously! lol). Honestly, I lack a green thumb, but I want to perk up my apartment with some fun (and functional) flora. I plan to grow them in two window sill boxes (one in the kitchen for cooking and another for scent.) Any suggestions on what grows well indoors (and for inept gardeners) and tips to keep them alive? Thanks! |

Hi, most herbs I've found worked well indoors. However, from my experience, basil, rosemary, sage, oregan and chives worked the best. I mix in some miracle grow all purpose plant food in the water every 14days when I water them. It seems to help alot. Find the sunniest window and put them there. They'll be happy and so will you! |
