too my surprise one of my cactus books said cactus and succulents like it a little on the acid side, so when I potted some into larger pots I mixed in some acidic fertilize in along with some perlite and they all did really well...who knew! (-_^)

Thank you for that information. I have threwing my coffee grounds away, but I will save them now; But, tell me how to I use it? Mix it with the soil or lay it on top of the soil?

No, it fits. I have never used coffee grounds, but I would mix it in the soil or make a weak tea and water the plants every two months to see what happens. With all the coffee we drink...I may have to use my own tip, lol. I have plenty of cactus and succulents to experiment with. May try that this week...I'll let you know how it goes.

I've always heard of coffee for you plants but wonder what makes it good for plants.
