My pond this year...

This is my pond this year. Most of it returned on it's own. I only added the new floater this year. I think it looks great. Attachments: ![]() |

It looks very nice tucked into the garden! I love the floater--is it a dwarf water lily? |

There is a water lilly in there but the floater is more like a water version of lambs ear. That is the best way I can think of to describe it. I forgot to ask the name of it. |

We got our feet wet in water gardens this year, so to speak. We plugged the drainage hole on a 15 inch pot and added a dwarf papyrus, corkscrew plant, and water clover. I could not find any other floater beside the water clover. There's one called mosaic plant--a gorgeous plant! |

VERY NICE !!!! How many gals is your POND!?? Those plants made it through the winter!? hummm...I clean and store my pond, did you leave the filter running all year!!?? Kale

Hi there !!! How exciting !! A fellow central Iowan !!! Where do you normally get your pond plants ? It seems like some years they are really hard to find !! My south side Earl May has NOTHING this year !!! THey don't even have their pond anymore !! |
