Obviously, I'm new to this forum but have already seen how much I can possibly learn from it, and hopefully one day I'll know enough to help others as well. I'm hoping to transition from a "stick it in the ground and see what it does" gardener who until recently lived with nothing but sand and shade, to someone who knows enough to take advantage of my new home's sun and rich "good" soil. My biggest goal right now is to learn how to plan a veggie garden that will provide a long harvest of a variety of veggies for two people with minimal waste, and I intend to use square foot gardening techniques which I'm also just learning.
