My mother-in-law dug up some perennial flowers to give us (no clue what they are). We are redoing the outside of the house so i did not want to plant them right away, i put them in pots for now. We had -2 weather here this week, the flowers are now dying. Is it because of the cold weather of because they are in pots?? and is there anything i can do to bring them back to life....please help! I would get those plants in the ground as soon as you can. The flowers were probably bitten by the cold but the plants should be fine ~ that's why I love perennials.
