Milkweed bugs are taking a toll on my butterfly weed plants. All the monarch caterpillers are gone, but the wilkweed bugs are everywhere. I try to catch them by hand but they are too fast. Can I use neem oil and still allow the Monarchs to use the flowers? TIA, Mark |

http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-neem-oil.htm This site seems to thing that it wouldn't affect butterflies. Another site I saw said that it would affect the larvae stage though because they eat the leaves. |

I've heard neem oil can wipe out bee colonies. It might have the same effect on butterflies. |
