I got a start of it from another gardener when I lived in Wisconsin, but have failed to get it to start here in Kentucky with the seeds I saved. It self-seeded easily in WI. It's a prairie wildflower and mine got to be 4-5' high, yellow flowers, bees love it. Quote \| Reply \| Report

Actually, it's hardy to Zone 4, so I think it would do well in Ohio. http://www.illinoiswildflowers.info/prairie/plantx /wild_sennax.htm It's also shown in the plant database here on GG, so it's not entirely unknown.
