I am just dabbing into a lil of this and lil of that...I planted herbs yesterday several different kinds, so is it okay to plant some in the same container together?

Sure! They have the same growing requirements and it makes a lovely container garden. There's an herb lady at our farmer's market who makes gorgeous containers of mixed herbs. I wouldn't put basil or dill in because they get big. What did you plant?

Lets see I planted Sweet majoram, basil, oregano, cilantro, rosemary, parsley, chives, and thyme. I am thinking of buying a few more. Its crazy I go the store and get carried away, I want to buy all the seeds I possibly can my husband has threatened to "ground" me from the feed store.

If you decide to start growing mints, keep them in a seperate container. From what I've read online in different sites and other forums, mints can be invasive. Although I'll be the first one to admit that I love them.

[[color=darkred]I have a lot of different mints and use them in iced tea and garnishes. I would like to have some apple mint. Does anyone know where I can get some?

I found my apple mint at an area greenhouse. You'll just need to find one that carries herbs along with their other staples.

I've never had a problem with growing herbs together in the same container.
But scooppc11 was right your're better off growing the mints in a separate container other wise they'll take over.

You can't see the oregano and the other rosemary plants in this picture but there' on the right if the sage and rosemary in this container.
