Wow, that was fast! Here's another one, thought I'd put it up with the coral bells this morning, but I guess that's what decaf will do to me before 7am... The purple ground cover is in three spots, I'd like to give some to my Mom this Sunday, but would like to be able to tell her what it is. (Hopefully it's something I can transplant, please tell me it's not a weed!) The next single leaf I think is a Lily-of-the-Valley, but I've never seen them alone. The last one is a mystery, about 4" long from stem to stern, seems to be coming up where I thought there was Dianthus. Maybe my map's upside-down? Maybe I'm upside-down? Thanks again in advance, Margaret Attachments: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

As you suspected: 1st - Phlox subulata (Creeping Phlox) 2nd - Convallaria majalis (Lily of the Valley) 3rd - Dianthus, probably a deltoides variety (Pinks) |

Yup, I think that's right, too. |

Wow, you guys are GOOD! I've even told two of my neighbors about this site, because they're new(er) gardeners, and also inherited their perennials. I'll probably end up taking pics in their gardens for you to identify... Again, much thanks! Margaret |
