Hello all, been a guest on this site for a couple years now and have learned alot. Thought it was about time to join and ask a few questions starting with watering. My garden is about 25 feet by 13 feet and I have a sprinkler system using water from my lake. Last year was the 1st year using new sprinlkers. The guy that installed system gave me a seperate zone just for the veggies. Problem is he put in heads that are the same as for the yard. This year I want to change to undergound.I was wondering what to use for hose and how much. I don't know alot about the sprinkler system and was worried about the water pressure in regards to the pump. Can underground corrigated pipe work with pump? Also how much hose should a garden this size require and what shape should the hose run: I thinking maybee snakeing it throughout the garden or should I go around the edges. If I snake it how far aprt should the esses be. The sprinkler is on a timer so I can water whenever I want as many times a day as I want and for as long as I want. What is to much? Thanks in advance and good luck with everyones gardens this year. |

Sounds like you are looking for a drip irrigation system. There is a company I have been considering doing mine with, dripworksusa.com Last time I checked they have a free service in which they will help you with a drip irrigation plan if you send them a landscape plan of your yard. That might be what you are needing, since I think that would probably answer a lot of your questions. |
