Hi! This is my first post. I live in northern Indiana and do most of my gardening alone. I could never get my husband interested, but I'm always happy if he notices or comments on any of the plants. We've had a few shouting matches over his use of the weedeater, however! Hopefully, I'll be able to start planting in a couple of weeks. ~ Midnight |

Thank you very much! My garden is sad right now due to warm temps that caused things to bloom and then some snow and freezing temps. How are things in your neck of the woods? Yikes---I see you're in Vermont. Sorry I asked! My DH was born and raised in Maine. |

Welcome Midnight..... as near as I can tell your experience is pretty much universal in the more temperate regions of the eastern US ( of which Vermont is not one of them). and....d Hey don't get between a guy and his weedwhacker. |

Well Welcome to GG and hope you have fun Gardening.. As we all look forward to doing.. Sharon loves to plant in the flower beds, and this year I let her ride the lawn tractor, now it's hard to get her off of it.. But she gets better at using it,, Had to change the mower blade, and a belt.. But I still love her for trying.. Don't be to harsh on the Guy, we have to get use of our toys, and some times get cared away. I've done the same thing with the weed wacker they all look like weeds when your trimming.. Happy Gardening |

Hi Midnight, I'm from northern IN too. We've had a crazy spring weather wise. I'm waiting to see how it will affect my flowers. I'm not sure what's going to happen with a few-they look pretty droopy Hopefully this warmer weather will help perk them up!Good to chat with another northern Hoosier! |
