This is the third season for this little guy. Mine does go dormant when the heat finally arrives. The first year when it went dormant I thought I had lost it but it keeps coming back :-)

I like unusual plants and ones that actually grow for me are even better

A quick Yahoo search reveals the bio name of Arisarum proboscideum.
