I just went outside and suddenly (as of noon today) my dragon houseplant's leaves became yellowed and white. A few leaves pulled right off... I have little idea what could happen so suddenly but I have a few ideas if anyone has had a similar experience:

It was fine at noon. Hopefully my picture is attached. Thanks! Yes, it had been out there for at least week in similar weather. I thought it needed more light than it could get inside and it seems to have liked that idea since it has new shoots and leaves growing for a month now... |

It may be the cold...I would hate to think that a neighbor would do something so nasty... |

i really don't think 50 temps would do this. one thing i never do is fertilize mine. mainly because i forget. not sure if that would have this effect or not. |

The only dracaenas I grew was Draco, and Foz is right about that, I never fertilized it either. Hm, overfertilizing, underwatering, and maybe too potbound. Maybe you should transplant and knock off the dirt to get them happy again? I looked around and that seems to be a common complaint with the three reasons above being most often a cure. one person repotted in the same pots just new dirt to get rid of fertilizer and misted them regularly. |

Wondering if the stems feel firm or mushy? Living in N.C. myself, I know we've had some very cold nights within the past week, I haven't moved any of my tropicals out yet, and I'm way down on the coast, near S.C. It could be cold damage that has taken a couple of days to show. |
