Kindpastor Joined: 11/17/2006 Location: Posts: 4	Posted: Nov/17/2006 2:27 AM PST I was foraging around my home in southern california and foudn what looked to be a thick, leafy vegatable, sort of like tobacco. I later discovered that the thicvk bunch of leaves was sprouting from a stump, about the width of a flagpole. I have not been able to ID this mystrery tree, but here are some leaf images to help. Kindpastor Joined: 11/17/2006 Location: Posts: 4	Posted: Nov/17/2006 8:29 PM PST My Gawd--a magnolia tree--let me see what else I remember about the plant--the leaves and stalk had a foul odor like BO--the branches had little hollow tubes running through their centers--ANTS were having a feast on the inside of a fallen stalk--thats all I can remember. I thought this was a weed at first because I found seedling growing behind dumpsters, and along railroad tracks. Quote \| Reply \| Report
