Yesterday at the nursery I saw this amazing tree. The worker there told me the name but I don't remember it. He also called it a Cardboard Palm. It has long flat leaves and grows very slowly in shade. It seems as though it grows horizontally as well as vertically. I know Treeman you could give me some good information about it. Anyone know about this type of Palm Tree?

Very cool and ancient plants, Zamia furfuracea.
The Floridata site has some good info, click here.
