Miracle-Gro is a pretty basic all-around fertilizer. it's a great foliar fertilizer and shouldn't hurt any plants if not overly applied. i know most common annuals like it a lot. BlueBelle Joined: 4/15/2005 Location: Ontario, Canada, zone 5a Posts: 6485	Posted: Aug/25/2006 2:31 PM PST Charlene, what they mean is that with some plants, if you give them too much fertilizer they'll grow lots of foliage but not have many blooms. Like morning glories. Cosmos is another one that is better not to fertilize much. The best thing to do, as Foz suggested, is to look up the plants individually and it'll usually mention the fertilizing preferences. Quote \| Reply \| Report
