ok it is spring time and i want to grow some vegies and start off a new vegetable garden and i want to grow some certain other plants in the garden but this is the perfect season to start growing plants in a summer garden for next season... all i want to grow as vegetables is some rubarb my own rubarb garden and then next some rosebushes well, even though they are not vegetables...who cares just grow anything i like but you guys tell me what do you think I should grow? |

Well..a lot of people here think that Strawberries go along with Rhubarb. So Strawberrys would be a perfect go-along. Strawberrys are a summer crop ....so an early fruit would be Raspberries... So now you have three..late spring..summer...deep summer. Add pumpkins for the fall season...broccolli...for summer 2nd crop for fall veggies... a row of corn..... and tender lettuce for spring and 2nd crop late summer / fall... and you have a garden for a year !!
