This is something that has grown out of a butterly garden seed mix I planted Spring 05. Naturally, I did not save the package. It did not flower last year - just grew big leaves. Is it a coneflower?

Yes, it is. Not sure of the variety. I don't think it's completely opened up yet.

Yes that is a coneflower.
I have grown very fond of coneflowers, I only have one that I started from seeds it is purple and really pretty.
I think I will try and get some other colors of the coneflowers.

Yes, definitely a coneflower, congratulations. They are my favourite flower. It looks yellow coloured right now but may turn out to be white when mature. Please post another pic when it's fully open. Love them!

I will post a picture this weekend....but....it looks to me like it is pink.(?)

Will it get more purple (not fully open) or more white?

Here is the picture. It is a quite lovely shade of pink. I have lots of baby plants so I think next year will be a nice show.

Looks like a purple that didn't quite make it. I have never seen a pink. Of course there could be one out there.
