I just love English Roses..they smell so good and though American Roses unfurl to that great shape..the English Roses multiple inner gathered shape simply enthralls me. Can some of you rose enthusiasts tell me what you know about the earliest English Rose..when they first came to the states..are these the same as in England or have they already been "re-bred" . I am so interested to see what knowledge you may have. |

Wan2Hav, I totally agree with you on English roses! I love em! I have five David Austin roses. As for whether they are the same as what they have in England I have no idea lol! Dora/Garden Goddess |

You might want to try hosting the pics at a site like photobucket and then linking to them. That way you don't have to worry with resizing. Good Luck - I'd love to see your English roses. This is one of my favourite rose sites. I find the pages very informative and helpful. Unfortunately English roses are not hardy for me here, so until I get a bit more experienced with hardier roses, I just have to admire English Roses from afar. Please post lots of pics! Thanks! |

OOOhhhh..R33...that site on the David Austin Roses was wonderful..it gave me a lot of the info I was looking for. I had a feeling these were new roses..but I never could get anyone to tell me so before....... And they are HIGHLY likely to get BLACKSPOT....stated on the site....and seen by me all the time. I still love 'em though...anyway !! Well I went to Photobucket...so heres a picture of my three girls...they are a small bouquet from earlier this year !!!
