Does anyone have some good ideas for hanging plants? I remember way back when there were those macrame things that the pots were suspended in. What are some things that can be used today? |

I'll bet metal pails would be cute. I have a small one that has a citronela candle in it. There are palm tree shapes cut out the top all around it. I was thinking about using that for plants. I got that from walmart this summer for 3 dollars |

I still buy those macrame holders for mine from Wal-Mart! You could get a plant stand... of course the plant is not hanging anymore... hmm... I really don't know how to hang a plant without macrame holders... hmmm maybe like a pot you hang on the wall.... let me think what those things are... kind of like sconces, but for plants. LOL! |

What about using old water cans, pales, I've seen where folks cut the legs from old pants and sew one end, put a strap on it and plant them. Look around at things that could be used that would hold soil, plants and the weight from it all and the water an be inventive. trudy |

I've also seen planters at Home Hardware that come with hanging ropes already attached to them. They are handy and some of them are pretty nice designs and colors too. |
