Hopefully someone can tell me what this is. I winter sowed a mess of seeds and lost my list of what I planted. I have this plant and want to know what is is so I can research where it needs to go in ther garden. Pic of the bloom and the leaves. Thanks

I'm looking for some dark flowered plants to see if I can find it. What color combination would you say it's more? Chocolate maroon or something like that?

I would say it's like a chocolate maroon, it's not black but a dark maroonish. I've been searching and searching trying to figure out what it is. I'm going to send the pics to some ppl that sent me some seeds and hopefully one of them sent it to me and they know what it is. As soon as I know I'll let everyone know. Thanks everyone for trying to help me id this.

It looks like a salpiglossis aka painted tongue. Here is a picture of mine, though mine are different colours.

I don't think I planted any painted tongues, will have to look thru all my seed packets and see if someone sent me some seeds of it. Thanks everyone
