i know a lot of folks that would probably pay money to rent your dog out for the growing season! that's the first time i ever heard of a weedeating dog.

I"ve heard that dogs will eat grass if they have an upset tummy. So, the grass helps them to digest whatever it was to make them sick. Does your dog do it all of the time?

I've always heard that to mommabear, I've seen my dogs do that to. Sometimes later on after eating the grass they would vomit. Guess thats what they intended to do to feel better. trudy

i pick grass and bring it into my kitties, they used to eat it when they were outdoor kitties, i've heard it helps their tummy when it's upset
i also grow them oats to eat

My cat nibbles grass everyday so I'm not sure it's a tummy upset thing. He also has eaten my garlic chives, hakone grass, and a dwarf daylily.

i actually grown 'cat grass' for my cats during the winter. that's what the seed packet called it. not sure what was in the seed mix. think it had some rye grass in it but that's all i remember.

I grew it too Foz but my Weezy just totally ignored it. I think it's some kind of grain not actual grass. Weezy doesn't like catnip either.

It's usually oat and rye grass. The grass is supposed to help them regurgitate hairballs or any other obstructions. We used to grow the cat grass too, but our cats are indoor kitties and they'd vomit all over the house. So we stopped giving it to them.
