I think this is a good idea to show our support of our soldiers. But I'm going to have to go out and buy a red shirt.

This seems like a good idea on the surface, and I'm all for supporting our soldiers over there...but.....
Why is this idea being perpetrated that Americans don't support our troops and we don't love our country? I haven't heard one negative thing said about the boys and the job they're doing over there (except for the small minority that have committed crimes), but I find this Red Shirt message not very conducive to pulling us together as a nation. Just because some people don't believe in the war, it in no way means they don't support the troops and don't love our nation. I don't support the war, but it breaks my heart that boys my son's age are getting killed and maimed. It hits too close to home.
I'd like to know the source of the Red Shirt campaign before I take part in it.
