Does anyone have any suggestions for perennials (or shrubs for that matter) that will flourish in full shade?

None. Zero. Less than zero. Grass doesn't even grow.

Thanks for the link. I will check it out.

Hostas, only for me. Annuals in shade are impatiens, caladiums, bishops weed.

Sorry! I just saw the forum on shade gardens. I should have started my thread there. Could somebody move this thread there?

I have 2 flower beds that I put in a month ago under a large spruce on the east side of my house. Nothing grew there & it looked so barren. The beds are in full shade pretty much all day. For perrenials I have pansy's, creeping babies breath, delphiniums, himalayan Impatients, lamium, forget me nots & jacobs ladder that are all blooming now. I also planted foxglove & cantabury bells which haven't bloomed yet. Also a leafy ground cover plant called Snow on the Mountain. I put double impatients, red geraniums. butterfly flower and ageratum in for some extra color & everything is doing great. Hope this helps!

Cast Iron plants...but you'll have to bring them in during winter.

Kaffir Lily...another you'll have to bring in during the winter.
