I was online last wk. and I am applying to be certified as a backyard habitat , from the National wildlife federation. Has any of U seen that show on Animal Plante ?? Well , U can go online and apply to be certified. Just fill out a form and answer a few questions and then send your App in with $15 . Pictures or scetches are optional. I am sending in some pictures. You can also apply to have them come to your home. I was going to do that, but don't have a new area that I can set up 4 wild life. It's all around me naturally. But the flower gardens & ponds, feeders and other things can qualify your yard as a habitat 4 wild life. From tiny to large creatures... |

I haven't seen the show. What happens once you are certified? |

It just certifies that U R doing your part to help support nature . That U are sharing your space with the native creatures of your state / area. I think they send U a certificate or plaque. On the web sight they have ideas and projects U can do. U can look up native species in your state. You can create an online photo & date center ( what ever they it ) You can make a list of sightings from insects on up.. |

This is a nice thing that The National wild life Federation is doing. As they say on the show " One backyard at a time "............ There will soon be many certified backyards..... Yahoo !!! :broccoli: :carrot: |

Looks interesting. I don't think they do anything like that over here. Keep us posted as to how you get on. |
