the mix ratio for a 20 year old Mcclough chain saw? 16" eager beaver model. TIA |

I bet Randy would know. But I would mix it like I do weed eater fuel or even another chain saw. Is it 20:1 ? I think. Let me check and I'll post back. |

Wayne, most manufacturers will have a set oil to fuel ratio that rarely changes. I'm willing to bet that todays Mc Cullogh models operate on the same ratio as those 20 years ago. If you purchase the premix cans for the manufacturer, it should be right. Simply mix the entire contents of the can (plastic bottle) with a gallon of gas. If you you use strasight motor oil, you willl need to calculate the volume of oil to mix with a gallon using the straight ratio as a recipe |

You`ve probably long since found the ratio, But in my Timber Bear McCulloch The ratio is 40:1. Hope this helps someone. |
