I have my petunias in pots they not as perky as they were the first two weeks. I water them daily and feed them with the new miricle liquid once a week. Could they be too crowed in the pot ? Any suggestions ?? |

when i do containers i pack those annuals in like sardines. i think even the experts do that. do your pots have adequate drainage? they might be drowning. just a thought. |

I have them in the pots with the detachable drainage tray. I will remove it and try that. I didn't think of too much water. |

I am in zone 8. I water my petunia every other day I put miracle grow on them every time I water. ( nursery recommended). I have the double wave petunias in hanging pots. I water them sometimes twice a day. I fertize everyday since they are such heavy bloomers. They are beautiful I will try to post a picture soon. |

Are they getting enough sun, also check for insects if you can rule out the other mentioned possibles. trudy |

They were getting sun most of the day. I transplanted them to larger pots watered them again and fertilized again. One is starting to come back. But the others are still droopy. The blooms are so sad and barely open up. |

Problem solved. After repotting them. I lined my garden with them. Big mistake. Rabbits thought I put a buffet out for them and had a feast. |

Guess you don't have to worry about wilting now. lol But, Kathy, if the stems are still there, just trim them to tidy them up and they should come back again. Dern rabbits! |

There is just a little bit of stem left. I think I will bring them up on the deck and try to nurse them. |
