I got my first Knockout Rose bush last week b/c several folks told me it is one of the easiest roses to grow. I have never had roses and thought this would be perfect for a beginner. It has about 12 buds on it ready to open up. I am so excited! It looks so pretty even though it only has about 5 blooms that are actually open on it right now, but when it gets full, I'll take some pics and post it on here. I plan on getting some more this weekend and planting them this weekend. Anybody else have these roses and what do you think of them?

I got mine last year and I love it. I potted the first year and it done good but this year I planted it in the ground and it is full of blooms. Mine is red and I want a pink one to. It has been blooming since late April.

I saw the pink ones as well. They are beautiful! I would love to have some in that color as well. I also saw some in a lighter blush color that was really nice..too many roses too little time for planting!

HI: I have had my red Knockout plant since they where introduced. I love this plant ,it is pretty much care free ,good bloom & very short rebloom time (has some bbloom almost all season.) & is fragrant as well.
What more caould we ask for??

I will try to get a photo later today & post it if anyone is interested.

They are so carefree, and come in yellow also. I was told they have come out with a double red color. Found it here at this link:

This site says hardy in zones 4-9

Idy: Here is a photo of our Knockout. As mentioned in an earlier post we have had ours since it was introduced ( 2000 I believe).
