I have a friend on another forum (not garden related) that was asking me about cooking radish greens. I don't eat greens myself and wanted to find out if you just boil them like you do poke, turnip greens etc? Do you put anything else in with them like salt or anything?

I cooked a large pot of spring spinach greens this past week..
I have never cooked radish greens...cut the tops off some radish yesterday and threw away...
I seasoned mine with smoked ham hock...some times i use smoked jowl bacon...or sometimes just hickory bacon...salt and pepper...

I tried some a week or so ago, didn't have a clue how to do it. I cooked with melted butter and some garlic--not so good. I did try some uncooked, and thought they would be good additions to a salad. I'll stick with raw greens for a salad, here.

Apparently my friend went to walmart and got some wileys greens spices and boiled them in that and olive oil. She said they tasted like greens to her LOL.
