I love this tree it is about to bloom and the smell is soft and beautiful even Hubby noticed today when he went to come in the front door ! History, It was planted in a spot for more then 4 years where the water came down from the awning right onto it, it did nicely there even had giant ice on itfor half the winters, it still lived to come back the next year, well, I moved it because it was squooshed between Ash tree roots and the cement porch, besides it can show off its beauty where I put it * anyway , I did notice there were no berries this past fall, I moved it April/MaySpring of 2005 was afraid the move shocked it or something .I can say there wasnt much of a root system at all! Hardly believe it was a tree, less roots then my overwintered Collards! What can you tell me about this tree I will put a lable near it so I know,OH, it has not grown till this year the branches grew about a foot all around, the hieght is still the same. THANK YOU! Kale

We spoiled him, Kale. You have to offer up steak and home-baked treats to get your questions answered.

gee gonna hafta forgo the steak and goodies this time. I can't pull the name of this one outta my hat, yet it looks familiar. Will ponder on it some. This has been Ruritan lawn party week and in addition to being the lawn party chair, I am the main chicken fryer. Thats 4 nights of deep fryin chicken over a hot vat of oil. Until this mornin, I haven't seen the outside of my home in daylight since Tuesday I don't want to see any chicken for the next 3 months at least... thats the reason for my prediliction towards steak. |

I think it looks like a Choisya ternata, the Mexican Orange Blossom that someone has standardised. |

Choisya ternata, i believe has 5 petals on a flower. Ligustrum has 4. Kales plant appears to have 4.
