I had my first squash today. I had forgotton what a wonderful taste they have picked fresh from the garden. So with potatos, onions, peppers and now squash my garden is really taking off. I should have green beans next week, they are about as long as my finger now.

Wow, that's great Maggie! I don't think I will have anything harvestable for another 2 months or so.

I've been having the same problem, Laurie. I did get mine tilled but I still have lots of stuff left to plant. I got my broccoli plants in today and three more tomatoes.

Look what I'm having for dinner with new potatos, squash, green onions, fried ham and cornbread. Wish I had some fresh tomatos to go with it.

Yummy, Maggie! Can't wait for our veggies. That won't be for several weeks yet here. But how did you grow the ham?

Killed hogs in November. Remember I love in the country. We have our own beef, pork, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, and a creek for fresh fish.
