I found this little shade plant growing in a few places in a wooded area in my backyard. It's very small, no more than 4 inches tall, with a vinelike extension under the mulch/leaves stretching to its neighbors. It's never in a bunch of more than 3 or 4 together. Attachments: ![]() |

Ron, the leaf has small thorns on its edges which is why she thought holly. I don't think it is poison ivy. Is that the only plant with 3 leaves? |

In that photo, yes, there are three leaves together on one of the plants, but that is not the case for all of that type of plant. I have poison ivy in my yard, and I know what it looks like. This is something else. |
