I wanted to share some photos of my gardening this year. So here goes. I downsized the veggie garden and am cramming as much as possible in the remaining long bed. Lettuce, onions , oregano and some yellow flower i can't remember ,radishes, coleus and spinich plus a few more odd and ends tucked in there, are in this end of the bed. The cukes are planted under the curved branches and hopefully will climb on up em. :banana-wa

Nice beds! I like the curved branches. That's something I think I'd like to do, if I can. Keep sending more pics!

Thank you. The arches are made from mimosa trees in our yard that grow like weeds. I cut them when they are green and they bend real easy. I also i have dill and a Lilly and some daisy in that side. You'd be surprised how much you can grow in a little space.

Beautiful garden ncgardengirl! I see the nice deer guarding the veggies from the rabbits. LOL I see a lovely jade plant in there too. I love the arch with tree branches too. How did you make them?

Thanks everyone,

Yes thats jade in the container, I'm still working the design for the containers, it's different every year. I have beans I'm weaving in and out of the deer frame. As for the branches, i just cut them when they were green and stuck em in the ground about 7-8 inches deep. Like i said earlier I'm hoping the cukes will grow up em and help shade the lettuce to boot. Cukes are very slow growing this year for me. Something keeps nibbling.

Here are some newer pics from my gardens. I planted miniature tomatoes this year and some are very tiny, others are green and some will be pear shaped. How will i know when the greens ones are ready to eat? LOL These photos are from last week and the garden has since been changed. Radishes are done, too hot for them, yanked out some bolted lettuce as well, It's a never ending thing. The one picture of the greenery in front of the round wire basket on the ground is a mystery plant. Not sure if its a weed or not . Closest thing i can find is maybe dalias but i don't remember planting them. Is it a weed? There were many more and i yanked them, left a few to see what happens. Isn't gardening so much fun. And with my memory its a mystery game too. LOL:broccoli:
