Does anyone have the garden claw ?? How do U like it ? Agway has it for $40.. Is that a good price or can they be had for less ?

I have wanted one, but haven't bought it yet . Didn't put it on the wish list for DH yet either...

I just saw in the organic gardening book, "a garden knife " .. Has anyone have one of those ? I looked in a few stores around here and I have not seen it yet. Looks like a good heavy, sturdy tool.

For all of you in Ontario, near Zehrs stores.. I bought a great CopyCat tool of the Garden Claw. It was only $15!!!!! It's by their personal brand "Presidents Choice" and I used it a few times this weekend. I was quite impressed with how easy it made my job of digging around in compacted dirt!

I will check out the web sight. Maybe even with shipping it will be less than the $40.... I hope. I'd ask my Canadian friends to send it to me, but I am sure the shipping will add up to the Agway price.

Thanks

Ok.. The sight will not me register because I do not have a valid Canadian postal code...

They don not have a way for me to locate a store in the USA . They have no check out on the sight so I can buy it there. Bummer.. It's a great price.... What to do now ( ?? )

Dav, that's overpriced, I'm sure. Here in Canada it's $30 and that's in Canadian dollars (would be about $25 USD). I'd shop around. We had one for several years and it loosened our clay soil well.

I've had it for a few years, and it's quite handy for mixing in soil ammendements as well.
As Bluebelle says that price does seem steep. I think I paid 25 CDN 3 years ago, and that wasn't even on sale.
