Wow, how lovely! What a clever idea to build a greenhouse from salvaged windows, and such fine ones at that. Did you have any specific plants in mind when you built it? What do you grow there? Julia |

I do lots of starts from cuttings, and overwinter some of my tropicals. This year I started several varieties of canna, tropicanna, bengal tiger etc. I also am doing black elephant ears and a striped one I don't know the name of. I have a pond in the greenhouse where I overwinter some pond plants that won't survive KY winters. And just about anything else that I can!!! My main objective when I built it was to overwinter some of my annuals, of course, now I need to build on so that I can start new stuff, ha... I am thinking about building another one in the field next to my house. Won't be as pretty so I think I'll make it less visible. Thanks for looking. I'm going to post some more photos of the rest of the garden later today. It's really pretty now. |
