Just finished planting some of the herbs and will be planting more when the seedlings get a little bigger and hardier looking. I'm going to put rocks across the front to make it look more defined.

So far, I have Cilantro, Basil, oregano, rosemary and lavender in there.

Hmm, I thoguht sage was an Annual, but after reading some info now I guess I was wrong. My sage from last year didnt come back, although perhaps I pulled it out of the ground thinking it was an annual before it had a chance, lol.

I have 3 new plants (2 variegated and 1 purple sage) so I will be sure to leave them alone next year, lol.

I would be carefull with the Garlic Chives. From what I read they are very invasive! I have regular chives and I can tell you they are taking up alot more space this year then they did last year, lol. I find myself having cream cheese and chives on my bagels in the morning quite often .

Nice herbs.Keep an eye on that oregano, My little baby plant was planted 5 years ago in a bed that I thought wasnt gonna do nothing and now I have to snip and cut all the time.. it is huge. I will post a pic of it soon so you can see what I mean. Good luck hon.

My oregano from last year is growing like crazy! It's like a small bush right now, lol. I just trimmed it down last week to make some pizza sauce, and it hardly slowed it down at all!

Goanna, I found that the variegated sage was not perennial here,so you might want to take cuttings and overwinter inside. But then again, winter is much harsher here upstate than down in the City.

Here's what I did in that same space so far. The stone walkway and step went in yesterday.
