Hubby buried it in our last snow storm with snow from the driveway, I think there was a good amount of road salt mixed in it. BUT a neighbor has 2 that she doesn't like and offered them to us. So this morning we dug up 1 and put it in our yard. Not sure yet where the other one will go, I'm thinking I might put it in the bottom end of the raspberry row. The Dwarf Crabapple tree is starting to open it's buds!!!! I don't think I am going to do anything to that tree this year except put Johnny Jump Up Viola's around the base. (I figure if they get stepped on who cares!!!) The blueberry bushes are just starting to bud, Hubby and I talked about extending that area and putting 2 more bushes of another variety this spring b/c they need to cross pollinate to bear fruit. Oh and the same neighbor that gave us the blueberries last year, brought over a sucker of a huge tree that came under their fence that she doesn't want... apparently they get like 30ft tall and very wide... Not sure where I'll put it or if I'll even keep it b/c no one knows what variety of tree it is!!! Quote \| Reply \| Report
