I'm asking for prayers for my future daughter in laws father. They got word that he has cancer. They took a biopy on Mon. He went to the hospital for a hernia op. when they found it. We should know more by the end of the week. The kids are scared. They said if it is bad then they will cancel the wedding and then elope. We have him in our hearts all the time. |

Lyn, prayers going out to you and your extended family to be at this time. I guess everyone worries when they hear the word 'cancer' but many times it is treatable and prayerfully, that will be the case with your future DIL's dad. I have a prayer request for a coworker. She had a heart attack last Tues and had double bypass surgery this past Tues and she started having seizures after the surgery,they are not sure why as the surgery went well. she has lots of brain damage They had put her in a coma to stop the seizures and took her out of it last night and that is when they found out how much brain damage she has. Please pray for her and her family, her son and husband are having a real hard time. She just turned 53. She is a sweet person. I left work today as people were asking me how she was and I just couldn't tell them as the family doesn't want it all out yet so my boss sent me home, he's a real sweetheart. Thanks everyone Also please pray for my parents as they are traveling and that they have a safe trip home, they are in Yellowstone today and will be heading towards home this weekend, stopping in PA to visit some friends for a few days before coming home |

How sad for your friend MG. Yes, it is very difficult on the family having to experience this and the worry. I believe in miracles and pray they receive one. Praying your folks have a safe journey home. Prayers for all the GG friends and their families/friends in need at this time. |

Thanks to all my friends who have extended their thoughts to me on loosing my Dad. I am doing ok, but this week has been very difficult with the reality of it all setting in. I was on my way home from a golf lesson on Tuesday (Dad sent me his clubs 2 years ago when he couldn't play anymore) and thought - I must call Dad and ask him......then remembered I couldn't. |

OH Jules, I know what ye mean. My Daddy passed along time ago, but I still think about calling my Mother only to remember............ Would like to ask fer prayers fer my Granddaughter who jus had a baby. It was an emergency c-section due to her blood pressure. They are still having a problem getting it under control. Baby boy is 8lb 2oz and perfect. Thanks fren's!! |

Update on my co-worker/friend i talked with her brother this morning and they are taking her off life support @ 1:30 today, they are praying that she goes fast so they can donate her organs as that is what she wanted. the family wants her to go fast too, they all have said their goodbyes and told her to go be with her dad. When she came out of the surgery her brother told me that she was talking with her dad so he must of come to get her so she won't be alone. In order to donate her organs it has to be within 2 hrs of them unplugging her so they will still be good if she lasts longer than the 2 hrs they won't be able to donate them. I didn't realize that. It sure has been rough on her family and friends, pleasekeep her family and friends in your prayers. Thanks everyone Also please pray that I start to feel better soon, been sick since Sun, guess it's time to call the dr again. |
