please keep my husband in your prayers. He was ripping out the bathroom tile and sheetrock and slipped and fell and cut his arm really bad. He had to have surgery to repair it. I am usually working today, but took off, thank goodness as when he fell he was in the tub with his legs hanging over the tub and couldn't get out. I don't know where I got the strength to do it, but with one pull, I got him out. If I wasn't there, he might of bled to death. I have talked about pennies from heaven and after I sat there praying he would be ok and they told me he was done and ok, I went to let the boys know he was ok, and I looked down and found a penny. Guess it was his parents letting me know someone heard my prayers. |

I keep hearing about earthen dams ready to burst!?!it's about 20 minutes south of me, i'm just on the edge of it, in southern maine. nh & mass are getting it too in parts. places have had 15" of rain I think the news said, we were in a drought until 2 weeks ago. Might see sun on Wed & Thur then another major rain storm Fri-Mon, sure praying it misses us. please pray the rain goes someplace that needs it like the Aussies or Texans and the bright sun shines here |

Praying for Netpeach's hubby. Good Lord was looking after both of you. Praying for Jules and family at the loss of her dad. Praying for the folks who are suffering with the flooding. We see it all on the weather channel and it looks pretty awful. Stay safe Laurie. |

Thank you for your kind thoughts all. As most of you know, my Dad had open heart surgery in March when I was out there for a visit. It was hard to leave him, knowing it would likely be the last time I would see him as his body was shutting down slowly and the sad news came in the wee hours this morning from my stepmother. My father's wishes was for no service and a cremation and these are being honoured. I had my closure when I was there this spring and my heart will hold many dear memories of my Dad. |
