I saw "The Weed Hound" advertised on the Today Show today. It looks like a great product. It has a long handle (about 3 ft. long) and you push it into the ground overtop of the weed, and then pull the entire weed out of the ground. It sounds great! Let me know what you think pro or con about this product, please

It's great for loosening compacted dirt and well rooted weeds.

I bought the "Weed Hound" yesterday at my local Home Depot. It cost $20.00. I took it home, tried it out, and immediately fell in love with it. It is very easy to use, and accomplishes its task well. I would highly recommend it to everyone, especially people who have difficulties bending over. A+ for this product!

I'm curious about this tool. I think I may have to add it to my son's collection. Yet another tool for him to leave out in the rain so that it will rust and be added to his growing collection of rusted garden tools. Arghhhh!!!

I like to go out to his place and muck about in his garden. He has 20 acres. I think he likes me doing it too. I've bought him the Garden Claw, the Garden Bandit and now I think this one might be a worthy addition. Of course, you know I'm the only one who actually uses any of this stuff!!!

Thanks for the tip!

I loved it. It's excercise and pulls the whole dandelion or broad leafed weed it makes a clicking noise that is addictive. I have a big yard though and it takes a long time if you don't stay on top of it. It takes a long time much longer than an organic product.

They pull up like lettuce so you could pull the organic dandelions and add to your salad.

I love the garden claw as well. It works quickly in my beds and I use it for the compost pile as well.
