Today while cleaning up the yard I noticed some beautiful moss growing in a spot at the back of the yard. I have made a rock/cement planter box along one side of my porch so I decided to dig up some sods of moss and try to get it to grow in the nocks between the rocks.I hope it works. Its a really pretty sort of moss. It has almost like little fern leaves. Hard to exsplain but most of the moss that grows here is just fuzzy stuff sort of thing. This is different. Cool though I thought. |

Sounds interesting .....hopefully the conditions are conducive for it to continue to grow. BTW - welcome to GG Jewel (I've been out of touch for a couple of weeks) - this is a great forum full of very knowledgeable and friendly gardeners. Hope you enjoy your stay and become one of the family. If you need any help here, just holler:banana-wa |
