thumbelina - your toad actually uses the house?? I had a very large toad in my yard last year and hope the snakes haven't gotten him - am still looking for a toad house and never find one... |

Kar-I have a v-shaped piece broken out of a terra-cotta pot that I have turned upside down and have another plant on top. There is a lot of wandering jew in that area that covers the bottom pot, and I have a toad that lives in that pot! There is also one that stays inside my cat planter that I have nothing in. It stays moist and cool hidden in the plants. |

So he was probably using it. We also had a toad in the front yard. I think he lived under the splash guard at the end of the down spout, because it was propped up at one end. And it was near a water faucet. |
